The UK Slot car festival is the big event of the year in the UK for Slot car fans and it is now only five days away! You can find details on the website: ukslotcarfestival.co.uk . In addition to all the trade stands to buy from, manufacturers to chat to, and tracks to try there will be our two circuits, using Scalextric Sport track set into MDF through the clever efforts of Robbie the Robot at Assembled Electronic Solutions. Here are today’s pictures of Panels 18 and 19. Today we added the grass and some Armco (which we covered in masking tape so that we could spray paint it). Then we added fencing to protect the spectators who we expect to arrive for the Festival! The other 17 panels are already done; and 18 is now finished enough to use, though, as with other panels, there are some nice details we will add if we get time.
