Yes. Just 6 days from this morning to the opening of the Slot Car Festival 2016 at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon in Warwickshire.
We will be there with our usual stand though not in the usual place because we are taking two tracks for you to see how our products can look on a Scalextric track where the track is sitting flush with the surrounding surface – in this case MDF. Through a link up with AES (Assembled Electronic Solutions) of Stratford upon Avon and Robbie their robot cutter we are bringing both a small (2m x 1.5m) and a big (7 m x 4m – maximum dimensions) track for you to look at and to try.
We are now in the final stages of completing the big track, working on the last 2 of the 19 MDF panels. Today we have added the gravel (cork granules) in the gravel traps, the sand paths, some railings around a grandstand area and the first of the advert boards. Here are the pics.
