The Slot Festival is getting nearer. In 4 weeks from today we shall be setting up our stand but also – we hope – setting up our track project.
Not a lot of time today for the project but I said yesterday that I would show some work on curves with kerbs and white lines. So here are two corner panels which we have put kerbs and white line on. One is two Radius 4 curves and the other has four Radius 3 curves but happily we now have white lines for all four radii of Scalextric track and we can 3D print kerbs for all four types of curve. The white lines come with a sticky back so are really simple to use. The kerbs we are gluing into position after painting the raised parts red. If we decide to injection mould them we will mould the raised bits separately in red to save the painting time. Are the kerbs or white lines of any interest to any of you?
