Multiple cars on 2 lanes with Digital

If you haven't had anything to do with Scalextric for a few years, you may not be aware that the old one car per lane and no changing lanes concept has been opened up with the introduction of digital technology. Now you can have up to 6 cars on 2 lanes and choose to change lanes for tactical reasons! There are special sections on straights and corners where you can choose to change lane. This can lead to some big crashes but can also really add to the fun. With Scalextric Sport Digital you can even do Qualifying laps and then line up on the grid in the order you qualified in!!

Safety Fence with upright stanchions - FK2
LATEST NEWS!! We have added to our range of Safety Fencing by introducing a second Fence Kit (FK2). This is similar to the FK1 but with upright stanchions instead of the angled ones. This is easier for you to use if you want to be able to take the fence down for storage or when changing to a new layout. Like the FK1 it includes 10 stanchions and 1.75m of mesh and is also priced at £6.95! FK2 in Close up

Recently we also introduced a Camping Tent (TE 1) for those spectators who can't afford hotel accomodation for their Grand Prix weekend or who want to stay close to the action of a rally stage. These are £3.45 and are vacuum formed in white plastic. They come with a lip around the edges which can either be trimmed off or used to fix it in position and decorated to blend in with the setting.

Following requests from customers we are still looking at adding some 'classic' logos to our Advert range. More news of those shortly but sadly there have not been many responses expressing interest in the 'classic' items we have been showing and the quote for the tooling costs came in at a higher rate than we had hoped so we have had to put those on the back burner If you are interested in all or any of them please e-mail us.

We have recently started to make logos available to go on our plain black and plain white tyre wall covers. See the picture on our Tyre Wall Covers page.

We are now also offering overhead gantries and banners (GK1). Here is a picture of one version. These are double sided and can be up to 350 mm wide - enough to stretch across a 4 lane track. The one in the picture is shown maximum height but this can be made lower by trimming the legs. The Gantry kit (GK 1) is on sale at £7.45.

Our straight Spectator Embankments have been available for a couple of months now ! These have been very well-received by those who have bought them. (One person with a particularly big track even came back for 12 more!!) They are available as simple mouldings trimmed and painted in matt earth brown for you to finish yourself or as finished with a grass effect so that they can simply be put into position. Currently the pair of ends (each 175mm long - Scalextric half straight) and the straight middle (350mm) are available. Now finally the curved ones have arrived and are on sale. This curved section fits outside of a Radius 2 45 degree curve and its border. Here is a picture of two of them round a 90 degree Radius 2 corner.

These cost exactly the same as our straight ones.

Italian circuit barrier

Black tyre covers

Recently we were sent some pictures of a Barrier on an Italian race circuit and were able to copy it reasonably closely. As a result we have added a third type of Tyre Wall Covers to our range. These are plain black rubber strips which can be fixed on with a hot glue gun. We also added some studs to them. The studs are simply very small, very sharp tacks pushed into the covers and tyres and with the heads painted silver.

This is in addition to our Tyre Wall Covers in blue and white. These are as in the circuits at Silverstone and Donnington in the UK. Both of these types complement the white rubber with red blocks which have been available for some time.
